30 years of a cappella fest

GFS' tight-knit a cappella group, and the joy of A Cappella Fest, are the subject of this new documentary helmed by GFS A Cappella alum, Eli Eisenstein ’18. 2025 marks the 30-year anniversary of this beloved tradition, which invites high school and college a cappella groups from across Philadelphia and the wider region to share their talents on stage—not in competition, but in community. Eisenstein hopes the doc pays tribute to the amazing community a cappella fosters, one that extends beyond high school.
